AWESOME AUGUST EVENTS

 

God has promised eternity in Heaven with Him for all those who accept Him as their personal Savior.  It's as easy as "ABC":

 

A: Admit that you are a sinner.

“...for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God,…”      Romans 3:23

 

B: Believe Jesus shed His blood and died on the cross of Calvary to pay the debt for your sin. He then rose from the dead three days later and offers salvation as a free gift to anyone who will accept it in faith.

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  

                                 Romans 5:8
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.” 

                                Romans 6:23

 

C: Call upon Jesus and ask Him to come into your heart, forgive your sins, and make you one of His children.
“… if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”    Romans 10:9
“… for, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’”                  Romans 10:13

 

If you would like to accept God’s free gift of salvation, then all you have to do is pray and ask Him. 

 

Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and that you were resurrected on the third day. I ask you to come into my heart, cleanse me of my sin, and make me one of your children.  Thank you, Jesus.  Amen.
